Add your first clothing item

Fits becomes more fun and powerful to use, once you have a few of your wardrobe items added to your profile. So that's a great start to make the most of the app.

During the onboarding, you can add a few common and popular clothes to your wardrobe with just a tap. Once you completed the onboarding, there are a couple ways to add clothes to your profile.

Simply tap on the big plus button in the bottom navigation and select "Add clothes". Then you have different options:

1. Search the web and items by other Fits users by keywords like "Levis jeans" or "Adidas Samba"
2. Add images from your phone's library
3. Snap a picture of your item directly in the app
4. Browse shops and add detected images with the built-in browser

For outfits to look good, we recommend you pick professional pack shots whenever possible. If you do decide to take pictures yourself, make sure you follow the tips for best results:

• Lay the clothing item flat on a table or floor, avoid a hanger
• Make sure you have good lighting and if possible a single-colored background
• Use the AI image enhancement feature to make your photos look like real product pack shots
